Administration
The leadership of the police department consists of the Chief of Police and Lieutenant.

Investigations
The mission of the unit is to provide professional investigative services to all customers, both residents and visitors alike, with an emphasis on solving crime in a prioritized, timely, and fiscally responsible manner; employing all means necessary that are supported by our profession.

Patrol
Uniformed patrol is the largest unit of the Jackson Police Department. They act as the front lines of the department and serve as the most visible ambassadors of the town, 24-hours a day.

School Resource Officer
The school resource officer is dedicated to working with the schools to ensure a safe learning environment, provide valuable resources to school staff, teachers and youth to prevent and solve problems within the school and community and foster positive relationships between youth and police officers.

Community Service Officers
The CSO division operates with a customer focused application of the municipal codes and ordinances to help steward the resources of our valley and the resources provided by our citizens.

Records
We maintain records in accordance with Wyoming State Retention Schedule Statutes. We are authorized to disseminate police report information to other agencies.

Animal Shelter
A unit under the Jackson Police Department, the Jackson-Teton County Animal Shelter provides humane care to, and finds homes for, lost and abandoned companion animals.

Victim Services
The Victim Services department is a division of the Jackson Police Department. They are available to inform all crime victims of their rights and available services.
