Active Shooter Training and Site Reviews

Active shooter events are an unfortunate reality in our world today, but there are steps you can take to help you, your employees, and your patrons be safer in such an event.

The Jackson Police Department has several officers who are specially trained to teach on-site customized active shooter response training to local businesses and organizations. With a little training anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident.

Trained department members can also conduct a site review of your business or organization's location and offer suggestions to help enhance your on-site security, to include: policy recommendations, security protocols, physical security upgrades, evacuation considerations, etc.

For more information, or to set up a training or site review, please contact the Jackson Police Department at 307-733-1430 M-F 8-5.
