COVID-19  and START Bike

What we’re doing and how you can help reduce the spread!

What we’re doing:

● Daily disinfecting of bicycle contact points with an EPA approved disinfectant, during scheduled maintenance routes

● The mandate for field technicians to wear PPE while touching bikes and station components

● Strict personal hygiene and social distancing requirements at the START Bike headquarters

● Frequent disinfecting of technician’s tools

● Continued monitoring of the latest updates from local, state, and federal public health officials

What you can do to help:

● If you are experiencing symptoms, or have been ordered to self-quarantine please do not use the bike share system at this time

● Wash your hands or use an approved hand sanitizer before and after using the bikes

● Respect social distancing guidelines and maintain a minimum of 6-ft between yourself and other riders

● Our pathways system is experiencing a very high number of users. Be respectful, ride slowly, use the bell when passing

Biking is a great way to avoid crowds, get fresh air, and improve your physical and mental health in these challenging times. Get out there, be safe, and have fun!  Please contact START Bike with any questions or concerns at (307) 734 3560 or by emailing info@startbikejh.com.    To  learn more about the START Bike program visit the website at www.startbikejh.com.
