Teton County’s variance to Statewide Public Health Order #3 will keep all businesses listed closed until May 11, 2020. These businesses include nail salons, hair salons, barber shops, massage parlors, tattoo body art and piercing shops, and cosmetology, electrology, and esthetic services. This Teton County variance will expire May 11, 2020.
This is a statewide directive for individuals arriving in Wyoming from another state or country to self-quarantine. There are several important factors to note about this Directive, one being it is for "any individual coming or returning to Wyoming from another state or country for a non-work-related purpose must self-quarantine for 14 days. TETON COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS
The Teton District Health Officer has issued six (6) recommendations. Recommendations are guidelines and are not enforceable as law. Of these 6 recommendations, the Teton Health District Officer is still recommending the following:
Recommendation #4: That visitors to Teton County, Wyoming are requested to return home immediately upon the issuance of this Recommendation by the fastest and safest available means, and persons considering visiting Teton County, Wyoming should remain home. Non-resident homeowners are strongly encouraged to leave or to not travel to Teton County, Wyoming. Recommendation published March 24, 2020. THIS RECOMMENDATION WILL EXPIRE ON MAY 8, 2020.
Recommendation #6: It is recommended that residents of Teton County, Wyoming who leave the geographic area of the State of Wyoming, Bonneville County, Idaho, and Teton County, Idaho and any visitors that visit Teton County, Wyoming, including the Town of Jackson, from that another geographic area outside of Teton County, WY should limit movement and gathering with other individuals who are not their immediate family upon their return to Teton County, Wyoming. Recommendation published March 29, 2020.THIS RECOMMENDATION WILL EXPIRE ON MAY 8, 2020.
Recommendation #7: All people in Teton County should wear cloth face coverings in public settings where other physical distancing measures may be difficult to maintain (e.g. grocery stores, pharmacies, crowded outdoor spaces such as sidewalks, and workplaces). Recommendation published April 6, 2020.

Public Health Orders, Public Health Recommendations and Town Ordinances that are no longer in effect:
Order requiring all people within Teton County, Wyoming, including the city of Jackson, to limit gatherings to only individuals within the same household, with exceptions. Passed March 30, 2020.

An emergency ordinance for all within the Town of Jackson to Stay-At-Home to help limit the spread of COVID-19; and other restrictions within the Town of Jackson, Wyoming. REPEALED
TETON DISTRICT PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER #20-1 - REVOKED
Order forbidding large gatherings over 50 people within Teton County, Wyoming, including the City of Jackson, Wyoming. Passed March 17, 2020.
TETON DISTRICT PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER #20-2 - EXPIRED
Order closing certain public places; and placing restrictions on restaurants within Teton County, Wyoming, including the City of Jackson, Wyoming. Passed March 17, 2020.
TETON DISTRICT PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER #20-3 REVOKED
Stay at home order for older adults (over 65 years of age) and people with high risk medical conditions within Teton County, Wyoming, including the City of Jackson, Wyoming. Passed March 28, 2020.
TETON DISTRICT PUBLIC HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS #1, #2, #3, and #5 ALL SUPERSEDED BY ORDERS
Recommendation #1: It is recommended that older adults (over the age of 65 years old), people who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility, people with High Risk Medical Conditions, and those that live with an older adult or a person with high risk medical conditions in Teton County, Wyoming, including the City of Jackson, Wyoming, should limit their movement and gathering with other individuals who are not their immediate family. Recommendation published March 24, 2020.
Recommendation #2: That older adults (over the age of 65 years old,) people who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility, people with High Risk Medical Conditions, those that live with an older adult or a person with a high-risk medical condition, and those who travel outside the Immediate Regional Area should limit their travel to Essential Travel. Recommendation published March 24, 2020.
Recommendation #3: That residents of Teton County, Wyoming who leave the Immediate Regional Area and then return to Teton County, Wyoming should limit their movement and gathering with other individuals who are not their immediate family. Persons should only leave their residences to perform any of the following determined to be Essential Activities as defined above for a period of selfisolation lasting at least 14 days or until any fever or respiratory illness has resolved with return to normal health for at least 3 days, whichever is longer. Recommendation published March 24, 2020.
Recommendation #5: It is recommended that all individuals, regardless of age, currently within Teton County, Wyoming, stay at home, in their place of residence, or current place of abode (with exceptions). Recommendation published March 29, 2020.
