[ARCHIVED] DOWNTOWN CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS TO START APRIL 2, 2020

Construction on Snow King Estates 2

The Town of Jackson’s Public Works Department will have several projects taking place starting April 2, 2020.  These projects will necessitate road closures in the downtown district.

  • Center Street Water Main Replacement Project – Starting Thursday, April 2, 2020, the Town of Jackson and Westwood Curtis Construction will be closing Center Street between Broadway Avenue and Deloney Avenue as the current water main line is excavated and replaced.  A portion of the excavation will extend into Broadway Avenue and motorists should be aware that routes will be adjusted with a lane shift around the construction work.  There will be no parking allowed along the south side of Broadway adjacent to the excavation work in order to accommodate this lane shift.

  • Cache Creek Tube Stormwater Project (Phase 2C) – Starting Thursday, April 2, 2020, the Town of Jackson and Westwood Curtis Construction will begin to re-align the Cache Creek stormwater piping into the Town’s right-of-way.   During this project Bruun Street (aka Willow Street) between Broadway Avenue and Deloney Avenue will be closed.   In addition, Deloney Avenue between King Street and Willow Street will be closed for the excavation of utilities.

The work for both projects are scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3 between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm.   There is no construction scheduled for the weekend.

Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification signage, and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers.

Please contact Jeff Silliman (jsilliman@jacksonwy.gov) with the Town of Jackson Public Works Department 733-3079, with any questions, concerns, or comments regarding this project.

The Town of Jackson would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding during these projects and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience that they may cause.
