Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation grooms several locations in and around the valley for recreational opportunities including Cache Creek; Game Creek; High School Fields; Wayne May Park; Emily Steven’s; Stilson/Centennial area; and South Park Loop Road.
The Parks & Recreation Department receives grant funding from the Wyoming State Trails Program, which ensures that the current service levels related to grooming will run through Sunday, March 15, 2020.
Recognizing the value these services bring to the community, and due to the good snow pack this year, staff will extend grooming services through Saturday, March 28, 2020 for Cache Creek and Game Creek.
Valley locations will be evaluated weekly to determine when staff will stop grooming those areas, which will be based on the weather. Parks & Recreation will be conducting an open house and survey in early April to solicit feedback from the public on winter service levels.
The event will be advertise on the Teton County/Jackson Twitter page, which is linked to the Parks & Rec website at http://www.tetonparksandrec.org/1353/Grooming-Report, and is the best location for upto-date grooming information. If you have questions or concerns, please contact staff at bsell@tetoncountywy.gov.
