FALL YARD-WASTE DROP-OFF INFORMATION
Town of Jackson Residents
Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3
Free yard waste drop-off at the Rodeo Grounds between the hours of 9am-4pm on November 2nd & 3rd only.
Please respect the following:
- ONLY grass, leaves and branches will be accepted. NO dog poo, plastic bags or household trash.
- ONLY Town of Jackson residents. No commercial drop offs, no landscaping or lawn care business drop off. For those living outside the Town of Jackson, but within Teton County - please note that the Teton County Transfer Station will be waiving fees on yard-waste from October 29 to November 3.
- NO plastic bags. Plastic bags WILL NOT be accepted.
Free compostable paper yard-waste bags will be available beginning October 18th at the following locations:
Town Hall (150 E. Pearl Ave)
Public Works Administration Bldg (450 W. Snow King)
Recycling Center (3270 S. Adams Canyon Road)
- ONLY drop-off between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Please do not drop off yard waste outside of these operating hours. Also, please no early drop offs in the days leading up to November 2 or after 4:00pm on November 3!
FALL BURN WEEK INFORMATION
October 28 - November 3
All residents wishing to burn clean yard waste, must first call Teton County Law Enforcement at 733-2331 prior to burning. During this week residents may use controlled burns to clean-up their property by burning clean wood, branches and leaves. For more information call JH Fire/EMS at 733-4732 or Town Hall at 733-3932.
GREAT PUMPKIN ROUND-UP INFORMATION
November 3
Residents may drop off their jack-o-lanterns at the Rodeo Grounds between 1pm and 4pm. There will be pumpkin smashing opportunities for the kids! All pumpkins collected will be composted.
TRANSFER STATION YARD-WASTE INFORMATION
The transfer station will be waiving fees on yard waste from October 22nd - November 2.
FREE YARD WASTE BAG INFORMATION
Once again - Free compostable paper yard-waste bags will be available beginning on October 18th at the following locations:
Town Hall (150 E. Pearl Ave)
Public Works Administration Bldg (450 W. Snow King)
Recycling Center (3270 S. Adams Canyon Road)
