From the end of April through May, the Town's Public Works team will be doing its annual flushing of fire hydrants. Flushing hydrants is part of Public Works' annual preventive maintenance schedule, which removes minerals and sediment and maintains high quality drinking water delivered to residents taps every day. If you see water gushing from hydrants look around for Public Works staff as over the next month, any such sightings are more than likely part of this annual "flush."
