Join Friends of Pathways and Town of Jackson on Thursday, December 16 to learn about the Willow Street Safe Routes Project - a plan to enhance Teton County's bicycle network by creating a complete safe bike route through the Town of Jackson.

Interested community members can view a presentation and give feedback in person at 320 South King Street from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. or on Zoom from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

What is the Willow Street Safe Routes Project?
The Willow Street Safe Routes Project is a continuation of the season protected bike lanes on Snow King Avenue from where they end at Cache Street to Willow Street, and on Willow Street from Snow King Avenue to Gill Avenue.

Why Willow Street?
Willow Street is a designated bike route through Town. This project improves the route by adding physical barriers (bollards) along the bike lanes, which would be present during the busiest months for biking (mid-April to mid-October).

When will the Willow Street Safe Routes Project happen?
The Project intends to install temporary protected bike lanes by May 2022 and looks to explore design options for long-term, permanent lanes in the future.
