TOWN COUNCIL ACTION ITEMS
The Jackson Town Council were in session for three meetings on Monday, November 1. The following is a report out on the actions that were taken during these meetings.
The Mayor introduced new employee Matthew Doyle.
The consent calendar was approved including meeting minutes from the October 18th regular meeting and the October 18th special workshop. Also on the consent calendar were disbursements, Special Event Pedigree Dog Sled Race, Special Event Red Kettle Salvation Army Fundraising, Special Event Town Square Lighting, a Temporary Sign Permit for the JH Art Association’s Holiday Mudpots, and an Easement for Water, Sewer, and Access Road on top of Snow King Mtn.
Council approved a Franchise Request for Terra Firma.
Ordinance Q, regarding Absence and Vacancy in elected office, was approved on 2nd reading as presented.
Ordinance R, Terra Firma Franchise Agreement, was approved on 1st reading as presented.
Council directed the Town Clerk to make application packets available on May 16, 2022 for one Retail Liquor License and one Bar/Grill Liquor License.
Council directed staff to prepare an Ordinance that will change regular workshop times from 3pm to 1:30pm.
Council discussed Teton County School District #1, Energy Conservation Works, START service to the airport, and Land Acknowledgments.
The Town Manager’s report contained information on a Classification and Compensation study and Council Retreat Dates.
