The following is an overview of the Town Council’s actions taken Monday:
JOINT INFORMATION MEETING
3:00 pm
- Council and Commission approved the September 13 JIM minutes and continued the Recreation Center Expansion discussion to an upcoming JIM (date to be determined).
REGULAR EVENING MEETING
6:00 pm
- Vice Mayor Jorgensen introduced new employee Zackery Edwards and read a proclamation recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
- The Consent Calendar was approved including minutes from the September 20 workshop, September 20 regular meeting, and September 27 special meeting/retreat. Also included were disbursements, the August Municipal Court Report, a temp sign permit for Habitat, a temp sign permit for TCSAR, Relocation of TOJ Easement across SKMR, START bus surplus disposal, and a Housing Trust Partial Waiver of First Rights for Specific Project.
- Council approved a sewer connection request for the Indian Springs Ranch HOA.
- Council approved a contract for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Technical Review.
- A rodeo concession agreement for 2022-2026 was approved as presented.
- A 58 day stay for demolition at 165 N. Glenwood was granted by Council.
- Ordinance O, Text Amendment to the LDRs for the NL-5 Zoning Districts, was approved on 2nd reading.
- Council discussed bear safety, housing action items, the Teton County School District, and transportation during the Jackson Hole Airport closure.
- The Town Manager’s report contained information on Council Rules & Procedures and the Interim Transit Director.
