CONSTRUCTION INFO & ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION
The Town of Jackson and Evans Construction Co. began the 2019 Patching and Overlay Project on April 29th, 2019. Due to forecasted weather and equipment delays the repaving date has been updated to Wednesday, May 22th, 2019, weather and temperatures permitting. This project is expected to be completed by Friday, May 31, 2019.
Work Area:
- E. Pearl Ave. between S Cache St. & S Willow St.
- S. King Street between E Broadway Ave & E Pearl Ave.
Schedule: (Weather Permitting)
- Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 paving will occur
- Work hours are weekdays, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- No construction work is planned on weekends.
ROAD CLOSURE, NO PARKING and ACCESS RESTRICTION Information:
South King Street and East Pearl Avenue will be closed on Wednesday, May 22nd between 7:00am and 7:00pm. No road side parking will be permitted during this construction work. Please obey “No Parking” signs.
During the road closures, bicycle and vehicle traffic are required to use alternate routes. Pedestrian access through the construction zone will be allowed at all times on the sidewalks.
Updates will be provided if the schedule changes.
Additional Information: Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification signage, and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers.
