Municipal Judge, Melissa Owens, will swear-in newly elected Town Council members, Arne Jorgensen and Jonathan Schechter, during a special ceremony, Monday, January 7, 2019 at 9 a.m. in the Town Hall’s Council Chambers.
Mr. Jorgensen and Mr. Schechter were elected on to the Town Council in the 2018 General Election. Judge Owens will administer the Oath of Office prescribed by the State of Wyoming. This ceremony is expected to last approximately 20 minutes and the public is welcome to attend.
Mr. Jorgensen and Mr. Schechter will sit for their first Town Council meetings later in the day. At 3:00 p.m. there will be a Special Town Council Workshop and at 6:00 p.m. there will be a regular evening Town Council Meeting. During the 6:00 p.m. regular evening meeting there will be Resolutions of Appreciation for outgoing Town Council members Bob Lenz and Don Frank.
