[ARCHIVED] TOWN PLANNING SEEKS INPUT ON HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND TOWN SQUARE ZONING

Town at night Outline of Tetons

The Town of Jackson wants to inform the community that on October 19, 2020, the Council will consider a major and exciting update to our Land Development Regulations (LDRs) to:

1) establish a new Historic Preservation program,

2) update the zoning standards for the Town Square area, and

3) establish a new Town Center Design Overlay with architectural standards to protect the Western Character of the Town Square area.

The public may review all of the proposed materials and narrated videos that summarize the proposed changes at the following project webpage:

http://www.jacksontetonplan.com/307/Historic-Preservation-Town-Square-Zoning.

In addition, please provide us your comments by taking our SURVEY. The survey can be accessed via the website above or by CLICKING HERE. The deadline for submitting the survey is October 1.

The Jackson Town Council will hear this item at a workshop on October 19 from 1-3pm.

We strongly encourage the public to submit comments prior to the meeting but participants are encouraged to attend all public meetings remotely by using the meeting link on the “agendas” page of the Town’s website. Public comment will be accepted at any time and may be sent to Tiffany Stolte at tstolte@jacksonwy.gov. The Town’s goal is to adopt the updated regulations and design guidelines by the end of 2020.
