ROAD CLOSURE NOTIFICATION &
CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION UPDATE
Project: SNOW KING ESTATES WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
Construction Information:
Construction of the new water main in Snow King Drive will resume Monday, June 18th, weather permitting.
The active construction zone for the week will be Snow King Drive where the crews will be installing services and testing the new water main.
ROAD STATUS UPDATE
Snow King Drive and Court will remain open to vehicular access today while construction crews work testing the new water main. Crews will be on or near the road and conditions will vary, please drive with caution.
ROAD CLOSURE & ACCESS RESTRICTION Information:
Daily road closure of Snow King Drive through the active construction zone will begin Monday morning, June 18th, around 8am. Pending weather challenges and daily progress, the road will reopen to vehicular traffic through the active construction zone no later than 6pm daily. This closure schedule will be daily Monday through Friday depending on weather conditions. With consideration of weekly progress, the Contractor is aiming to have the road reopened by early afternoon on Friday.
NO work will be performed on Snow King Court and residents will have vehicular access for the week.
ROAD CLOSURE FORECAST, AT THIS TIME, WEATHER AND PROGRESS ALLOWING:
Weather and progress permitting, Snow King COURT will be closed for water main construction June 25th to July 3rd. During this time Snow King Drive will be open to vehicular traffic in its entirety.
There will be no construction activities July 4th and all the roads in the area will be open to vehicular traffic.
There will be minimal construction activities July 5th & 6th and all the roads in the area will be open to vehicular traffic.
Residents are advised to park a vehicle below the active construction zone in the area designated by the Contractor prior to 8am Monday through Friday. Please obey the NO PARKING signs in order to keep construction moving.
Please be aware of and avoid equipment and materials staged along portions of the roadway.

PUBLIC MEETING WITH THE MAYOR AND STAFF ON THE WATER PROJECT: Jackson Town Hall, Tuesday June 19th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM. Please bring your concerns and suggestions regarding the project. If you cannot make the meeting please email us your input in advance.
The Town of Jackson Public Works Department is providing a shuttle vehicle above and below the active construction zone to assist residents as needed or requested. Please call (307) 249-6311 or 307 733-3079 at least 15 minutes in advance to meet a shuttle. During morning and afternoon commute times please look out for our shuttle that will be on site. Above the construction we are utilizing a Chevy Colorado and below we will typically be using a Subaru Impreza. Also, if you do not see a Town representative ask the contractors if they know our whereabouts as we may be shuttling on the other side of the construction.
