WINTER SERVICES UPDATE

Updated on December 3, 2018

ICE RINKS-Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation is happy to announce that the ice rink at the Fairgrounds on Snow King Avenue is open for public use as of Monday December 3, 2018.  Recreational Broomball league will start on Monday December 10, 2018.  We anticipate Owen Bircher ice rink will be open by this weekend.  Powderhorn and Alta ice rinks are still a work in progress and we will update the website when those are open.  Follow us on Twitter @TCJPRrinks for updates and visit our website for hours of operations: http://www.tetonparksandrec.org/1355/Ice-Rinks

GROOMING-Everything in the valley has been packed with the snowmobile and roller and is currently in variable condition.  Staff will begin our normal grooming schedule on Tuesday December 4, 2018.  Cache Creek to Noker Draw was scheduled to start today, however, due to equipment breakdown it will not be groomed.  Cache Creek, Game Creek and Emily’s Pond will be groomed with the PistenBully per our normal schedule.  All other valley locations will be assessed daily and will either be groomed or rolled depending on snow depths and condition.  Follow us on Twitter at @TCJPRgrooming for updates and visit our website for the daily schedule:  http://www.tetonparksandrec.org/1353/Grooming-Report
