The Jackson Police Department has one school resource officer. He covers Coulter Elementary, Jackson Elementary, JH Middle School and provides service to several other private schools within the Jackson town limits. The school resource officer takes primary responsibility for the investigation of cases involving school age children. This position is dedicated to working with the schools to ensure a safe learning environment, provide valuable resources to school staff, teachers and youth to prevent and solve problems within the school and community and foster positive relationships between youth and police officers.
Beginning in the fall of 2018, Officer John Faicco will be our school resource officer. He started his law enforcement career in Baltimore, Maryland in 2012 and became a Jackson Police Officer in 2015. He is a highly valued member of the Jackson Police Department and dedicated to the safety of your children.
